About ISO 9001
ISO 9001 sets requirements for a quality management system. It is the most widely certified management system standard, used in manufacturing, services and construction.
The current edition is ISO 9001:2015, amended in 2024 with a requirement to consider climate change.
A certificate is valid for three years. Surveillance audits take place in the first and second year; before the certificate expires the company goes through a recertification audit.
